Sometimes, when it’s cold, wet and windy, it can be pretty easy to let your spirits slump with camp morale on a long trek or expedition.

Especially if you’ve been canoeing all day and you’ve had water hitting you from every direction – that’s when you want the comfort of a campfire more than anything else.

Nothing lifts morale like a good old cup of tea, but on wet days it can feel almost impossible to find enough dry wood to get some flames going.
