COME and join us for some fun in the woods while you learn new skills!
Wild Parkin has teamed up with The Heart of England Forest to offer a new series of bushcraft courses.
Aimed at beginners, the first course – Forest Foraging Workshop – takes place in Middle Spernal, Warwickshire on April 20.
We’ll be trekking through the woodland while exploring the different types of flora and fauna used in bushcraft, and how to safely identify and use them. Escorting you on your foraging expedition will be instructor Darren Parkin, an outdoors professional with more than 35 years of teaching bushcraft and survival skills in the wild.
Tickets for this day course can be purchased here.
The next course – “Bushcraft For Beginners Workshop” – takes place on May 18 and incorporates a wealth of survival skills from building shelters and fire-lighting, to hunting and foraging. The day ends around the campfire, utilising some of the skills picked up during the course.
Tickets for the Bushcraft For Beginners Workshop can be purchased here.
The 2019 season of bushcraft sessions with the Warwickshire-based Heart of England Forest reaches a finale with a two-day course that will see you camping out under the stars on Saturday June 15.
Join Wild Parkin’s course director for a comprehensive workshop that will give you unforgettable skills you will be able to take with you to enjoy a lifetime of confidence outdoors.
Please note this course is for over-18s only. It will involve food preparation with some butchery, sleeping in shelters in the forest, and a couple beers round the campfire in the evening.
You can purchase tickets for this Bushcraft Weekend here.
Each of the three courses is designed for beginners to learn the basic skills involved in the art of bushcraft, and are led by Wild Parkin’s professional directing staff in conjunction with The Heart of England Forest.
Other courses and expeditions – set and tailored to your needs/skill level – are also available. Please contact Wild Parkin by email for details via email@example.com.
